Macro Counting

Hello all! And a big THANKS to all of you who read my blog while I have been M.I.A. I mean seriously, I hadn't posted in 2 months and was still getting hits everyday--i love y'all! I hope you like the new look, name, feng shui I've been working on. I'm also in the process of getting my PT certification through ACSM, so hopefully soon I will be able to take on some clients--online or in person :)

Recently, I joined forces with Katie's Fit Script and started counting my macros! I have been slowly but surely seeing results and pushing myself further everyday. I have beat my PR on like 90% of my exercises {deadlifts (145lbs), squats (135lbs) :D} and am eating 2000 kcals a day. I have never felt so strong! For those who are interested, after some trial and error, my current macros are:

160g P 190g C 54g F

They were slightly higher at first, but after realizing that I was over eating and to the point of being miserable, I talked to Katie and we lowered them. No, I don't hit them every single day. No, I don't let them consume my life. But, I am much more conscious of what I am putting into my body and I'm learning. So, eventually I will get to the point where I don't have to track and I can guestimacro all of my meals! I have seen such positive results from this system. Now that being said, this isn't for everyone. There is not one program that works for everyone, but I do know what works for me. 



So without further adieu, here's my progress! Finally seeing growth in my shoulders, and firmness in my legs! I don't have the abs that I used to, but that is not my main focus right now :)
