1 MILE SWIM WORKOUT

I love swimming. I swam competitively for a good portion of my life and I didn't realize how much I missed it! I also surprised myself by completing this workout, never slowing down. I did all freestyle because of my injured knee, but feel free to switch up the strokes! This is designed for someone who has a solid background in swimming. Anywho, here's what you're here for!


THE 1 MILE WORKOUT

STRETCH!

Warm up: 250

1. 1 x 100 

2. 6 x 50

3. 2 x 250

4. 8 x 50 

Cool down: 250 

STRETCH!

This comes out to a total of 1800 meters, which is a little more than 1 mile because I can't do math and I calculated it wrong :)

For those of you who do not have a strong swimming background, I wrote this workout for my BFF roomie {blog here} who did it at her own pace, stopping when needed. 

STRETCH!

Warm up: 6 x 50

1. 100 "knock off" by 25 
{100, 75, 50, 25}

2. 2 x 250 

3. 3 x 100

Cool down: 100

STRETCH!

Total: 1450 

Now we're off to hit shoulders!!
